Brian Rust joined SettleLand & Realty LLC. at Smith Mountain Lake bringing years of experience and extensive knowledge of the lake and surrounding areas. He and his wife first visited, and fell in love with, Smith Mountain Lake in the mid 1970s. Those visits became more frequent and soon confirmed their desire to one day live at the lake. That dream was realized in 2001 when they became full time residents at The Waterfront. Later they built a custom home and have since relocated to the Boardwalk community. He has a deep connection to the lake has cultivated many contacts while working locally in real estate the past 18 years.
Brian is originally from Loudoun County, Va. There he worked in a successful family business which he later purchased. His business experience provided a foundation of honesty, integrity, patience, dedication and a strong work ethic. He has been an active licensed realtor for over 30 years. When time allows he enjoys boating and golf.
