Born and raised in Indiana, PA with four boys, my Mom & Dad and a dog, life was pretty normal.

Fast forward, I moved to Virginia and met my husband, Stan, in 1993 and married in 1994. I became an instant step-mom to four amazing kids!

In 1996, I began my real estate career with Ryan Homes in Northern, Virginia. Fortunately, I received excellent training while with Ryan from how to read site plans and blueprints, the construction process, and the mortgage process which directly contributed to a successful career over the next 14 years. After working for Ryan Homes for six years, I sold for Pulte Homes, the #1 Nationwide builder at that time. There, I was promoted to Area Sales Manager and trained many up and coming sales managers in the industry today.

But always having a passion for home décor & design, in 2009 I opened a retail store in Loudoun County, VA called “The Pink Polka Dot”, a furniture and home accessory store. But as the economy shifted, retail was tough. I decided to get my VA Real Estate License and start doing something that was familiar, and that I really enjoyed.

In 2010, SettleLand & Realty, LLC was formed and three years later, I became the Broker of our firm. At that time, we were still living in Northern Virginia, but in 2014, my husband and I found ourselves here at beautiful Smith Mountain Lake and this became home!

While living here at the lake, I have been involved in various community events and charity organizations. I enjoy cooking, entertaining, spending time with family, riding our Harley, “Girl’s Night Out”, and my two Standard Poodles, Maisy & Nash.
